  • Amazing life-changing experience! ”

    Esther Ling | November 20, 2015

From the moment we arrived at Hem's house, we felt like we were at our second home. Hem and his guide, Tushar went above and beyond what we expected! Hem is such a genuine guy, from offering us tea every morning, cooking us delicious Dahl baht for dinner, recommending places to visit/food to eat, to organizing our flights to lukla, keeping our things safely at his home while we trek in the Himalayas! We really appreciate everything he has done for us.

Tushar was an absolute blessing too! We had no plans for Kathmandu but Tushar happily took us to all the must see places, translating for us every way, answering our tourist questions, introducing momos (this is a must!), even took us to visit his local hangout, Patan. He became less of a guide and more of a longtime friend! Both Hem and Tushar treated us very well and helped us organized everything we needed to trek to the Himalayas alone like hiking permits, trekking poles etc.

We really felt like we had a true Nepalese experience. My boyfriend even got a local haircut and massage! We definitely enjoyed our time in Nepal and this is mainly due to Hem hospitality and Tushar kindness. I cannot speak highly more for Hem and The Asia Adventure! We will definitely stay again and will be keeping in touch! There is no better place to book than with Hem!! Thank you both so much!!

  • “The Asia Adventure made our trekking a breeze”

I say enough how great The Asia Adventure is!! I booked with Hem and The Asia Adventure through Airbnb and how lucky that I did! They were able to help me and my girlfriend book my trekking permits, TIMS cards and domestic flights all with ease. His guide Tushar showed us around the city highlights and helped us with the language. He is super cool and easy going and another little surprise Hem had up his sleeve. Hem is genuinely caring, the hospitality was above expectations and a 2 day stop over at Hem's ended up being a highlight of the trip. I would highly recommend The Asia Adventure for anyone visiting to Nepal. Thank you so much Hem, we will be back!

A friend and I found hem and the Asia adventure through internet funnily enough, and it was a good thing we did too. We had an absolutely incredible time and hem was such a help to us from choosing our trek to helping us find our way around. His hospitality is second to none. I cannot recommend using the Asia adventure enough because the people are so genuine and caring. Thank you hem for making our time so wonderful

  • “Best time of my life”

I can’t possibly say enough nice things about my experiences with everyone at The Asia Adventure. Hem, the owner, is a genuinely honest guy, which in my experience is pretty rare in the world of tourism these days. I spent months emailing Hem back and forth trying to figure out what would be the best trek and places to visit once I arrived in Nepal. Never once did he act frustrated with me, even though it would have been understandable. While other trekking companies put pressure on me to make a decision, Hem never did and remained flexible with me the whole time.

Once I got to Nepal Hem helped put together an amazing trip for me. The highlight for me was our time spent trekking in the Annapurna Mountains. Hem placed us with guides Dell and Tushar who were simply awesome! Even though I had some issues with my knees Dell and Tushar were always looking out for me, checking in with me, and making sure I was having a great time. I’ve done a lot of traveling in my short life and I can say without a doubt that these two guys were the best guides I’ve ever had. What I like best about my experience in Nepal was that my guides not only looked out for my safety, but also helped connect me to the culture in a way I wouldn’t have been able to on my own. In the end, they became friends all the while still being professional about their duties. That’s a rare balance and one I’ve never had traveling before.

I could tell you all about the astonishing mountains I saw, the rivers I rafted, the jungles I hiked in, and how amazing all of it was. But to be honest you can read that in plenty of other reviews. The thing that stands out most about my trip was the people I met. There are certainly plenty of options for trekking and tourism in Nepal, but if you want to experience your time there with great people then I highly recommend working with the people at The Asia Adventure Nepal. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
