Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trekking

Tilicho Lake is one of the highest altitude lakes in the entire world at 4,919m high, worshipped by thousands of devout Hindus all around the world as it is thought to be mentioned in their holy texts. The deep blue luminescent waters are constantly growing due to surrounding glacial melt making it is a gem well sought after by many trekkers and even the occasional scuba diver (yes indeed, adventure knows no bounds). Located in the Annapurna conservation area, just off the main circuit, it is quite a popular undertaking; adding Tilicho Lake onto your Annapurna trek will take an additional 3 days. Many who do the whole Annapurna circuit claim that Tilicho Lake was one of the most beautiful memories of their whole trek. The Lake is surrounded by the peaks of Tilicho, Nilgiri, Khangsar, and Muktinath with great sweeping views of pristine alpine landscape.
