Remote Area Trekking

Remote Area Trek

Popular destinations such as the Anapurna and Everest regions may be high on the bucket list for a lot of trekkers coming to Nepal, but as these treks are becoming more and more popular with thousands hitting the trails each year, there seems to be a market developing for the trekkers who are interested in more authentic and daring experience into the great Himalayas. For those who are really interested in this type of adventure, we at The Asia Adventure Nepal offer a number of Off the beaten path trekking options. These less touristic trails take you deep into the unspoilt and wilderness areas of Nepal where you can discover the true beauty and riches of the countries unique mountainous landscapes. Some of the treks offered by us include The Pancha Pokhari Trek, The Arun Valley Trek, Siklesh Trekking and the Ganesh Himal Trek. During these treks, you are given the rare opportunity to observe the true culture and lifestyle of the many different ethnic groups of Nepal. The homes and lifestyles of these people are retained securely in the rural mountain hillsides away from the impacts of western civilization, which is a unique site to experience. Such ethnic groups include Tamang, Gurung and Sherpa, whose heritage once originated from Tibet. Another benefit of setting of into these wilder trekking regions is being able to spot the unique bird and wildlife in their native habitats. The Himalayan black bear, Red panda, Leopard, Black Panther, Musk Deer, Wild Boar, Rhesus and Languor Monkeys, buzzards, hoopoes, cuckoos, nightjars, red-billed magpies and slaty-headed parakeets to name a few species.

In these more secluded areas guest and tea houses are not very common, so lodging is not an option. For off the beaten path trekking, camping is required, which makes for an extra adventurous trekking experience. At The Asia Adventure Nepal, we organize and provide you with all the services and facilities you will require for camping throughout the trek. This includes all the necessary trekking gear, food, kitchen equipment, fuel, tents for dining, mattresses, sleeping bags, tables and seating. As well as your experienced trekking guide. We also bring along a cook, necessary camping staff, kitchen team and porters for your comfort. Along the trek at the end of the day they will set up the camp in the most appropriate areas, and prepare quality delicious meals. In the morning the team will provide you with tea and breakfast, and pack up camp to continue on for the day of hiking.
