Outline Itinerary
Day 1 :Arrive in Kathmandu. At Kathmandu International Airport
Day 2 :Fly to Lukla (45mins) and trek to Monjo Alt. 2,840m / 9,315ft. (4 1/2 hrs)
Day 3 :Trek to Namche Bazaar Alt. 3,440m / 11,283ft. (5hrs)
Day 4 :Acclimatization day.
Day 5 :Trek to Tyangboche (2hrs exploring) trek to Debuche Alt. 3,820m / 12,529ft. (5hrs)
Day 6 :Trek to Dingboche Alt. 4,410m / 14,465ft. (4 1/2 hrs)
Day 7 :Acclimatization day.
Day 8 :Trek to Chhukung and Chhukung Ri (peak) Alt. 4,730m / 15,514ft. (4 1/2 hrs)
Day 9 :Trek over Kongma La Pass (5,535m) and trek to Labuche Alt. 4,910m / 16,104ft. (6 1/2 hrs)
Day 10 :Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) trek to Gorakshep Alt. 5,140m / 16,859ft. (8hrs)
Day 11 :Ascend Kala Pathar (5,554m) and trek to Zongla Alt. 4,830m / 15,842ft. (8hrs)
Day 12 :Trek over Cho La Pass (5,330m) and trek to Thagnag Alt. 4,700m / 15,416ft. (5hrs)
Day 13 :Trek to Gokyo Alt. 4,790m / 15,711ft. (2hrs)
Day 14 :Exploration day (explore 5th Lake and Gokyo Ri (5,360m)
Day 15 :Trek over Renjo La Pass (5,345m) and trek to Ledgen Alt. 4,560m / 14,956ft. (6hrs)
Day 16 :Trek to Thame (visit a monastery) Alt. 3,820m / 12,592ft. (5hrs)
Day 17 :Trek to Monjo Alt. 2,840m / 9,315ft. (6hrs)
Day 18 :Trek to Lukla Alt. 2,840m / 9,315ft. (4hrs)
Day 19 :Fly back to Kathmandu (45mins)
Day 20 :Depart to your own destination.
What is Included
Private pick up and transfer as per the programmed itinerary.
2 nights pre–trek and 1 night post–trek accommodation in Kathmandu at 2-3 Star hotel (or as agreed), with breakfast.
Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley (as per the itinerary), with private transport, local guide and all entrance fees.
3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, teas and coffees) for the duration of the trek.
Twin share accommodation at best available guest house for the duration of the trek.
1 experienced, fully trained, government licensed and English-speaking Senior Trekking Guide for the trek duration.
Assistant Guides to offer support for the trek duration, as per the group size. (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide).
Sherpa porters to carry your luggage for the trek duration, as per the group size. (2 trekkers : 1 porter).
Coverage of all expenses for the guide(s) and porters, i.e. food, accommodation, salary, equipment and transportation, plus insurance for all staff (as per state law).
Return flights from Kathmandu to Lukla inclusive of all airport taxes.
Access to comprehensive first aid medical kit for the trip duration. (Clients are advised to bring their own personal medical supplies as well).
Sagarmatha National Park permits and TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) permit.
1 Asia Adventure Nepal T-shirt, per person.
Welcome and farewell dinner in Kathmandu at typical Nepali restaurant.
All applicable government taxes.
What is Not Included
Entry Visa fees – 25USD for 15 day visa, 40USD for 30 day visa and 100USD for 3 month visa on entry into Nepal (correct at time of writing)
Any meals in Kathmandu other than breakfast (and in the case of early return from the mountain other than scheduled).
Personal expenses such as alcoholic drinks, bottled water, cold drinks and laundry.
Personal medical and travel insurance and medical bills.
International air fares/ flights. (Fares and flights can be arranged upon request).
Hot shower during the trek.
Personal trekking equipment and clothing.
Insurance to cover emergency helicopter evacuation.
Tips for guide, porters and drivers. (Tipping is expected, but not mandatory).
